Printmaking

In January 2023 I seriously started learning lithography because of its affinity to drawing.  I  love the way it slows me down at each step of the chemical process which requires preparation and time.  Because of those characteristics of the medium I learn more abut the images I produce and exercise great contemplation. 

I had been engaged in relief printing for a number of years before that to further my explorations of trees.  I work by ideas rather than mediums, using any media for my current subject.  I also had enjoyed collograph printmaking and monotypes.  Now I have a bigger palette of mediums to use for my collections.
